Clubs and Enrichment

Functional Skills

The new Maths curriculum includes an element of Functional skills, or “real-life” Maths. This is a club for pupils who need to work towards getting their Level 1 Functional skills qualification. Run in Wednesday’s EP session by Mr Selomon and Mr Ford.

GCSE Booster

A club for pupils who wish to have extra practice with GCSE topics – either for working towards A/A* or for working towards getting a C. Run in Wednesday’s EP session by Mr Selomon and Mr Ford.

Homework Club

The Homework Club is available for any pupils who need to stay after school. It is a quiet environment in which pupils can complete homework and is held in the library from Monday to Thursday.

Maths Challenge

Future dates of the Maths Challenge:

Intermediate challenge years 9, 10 and 11

This will take place on:   Thursday 3rd February 2011

Junior challenge years 7 and 8

This will take place on:   Friday 6th May 2011
