Year 8

Module 1 Collecting & representing data

Module 2: Publishing on the web

Module 3: Information- reliability, validity & bias

Module 4: Models & presenting numeric data
Module 5: An ICT system

At the end of each module students will be sitting an exam to mark the end of that module.

Important dates for the diary 2008 - 2009

GCSE programme (A-C) year 9 - 11

Year 9

Unit 1 ICT Skills for business needs to be completed by 28th January 2009

Unit 23 Creating Video needs to be completed by 20th May 2009

Year 10

Unit 1 ICT Skills for business needs to be completed by 2nd December 2009

Unit 2 Multimedia products needs to be completed by 13th March 2009

Unit 3 Webpage creation needs to be completed by March 2009

Year 11

Unit 4 Desktop Publishing needs to be completed by (early) November 2009

Unit 5 Digital imaging - plan and produce computer graphics needs to be completed by (early) January 2009

Unit 6 Career planning for IT needs to be completed by (late) March 2009
